Using Arthur Dobrin's book "Ethics for Everyone" we'll be discussing Chapter 11, "Is Life Always Worth Living?"
We begin the meeting by reading the scenario and questions the author proposes. We then address the issue directly, relating it to stories from our own lives, which leads us deeper into the consequences of the decision. By the end of the meeting, most are amazed that a seemingly simple ethical situation led to such a meaningful discussion.
